"How to be a Scam Victim" by Muneer A. Rasheed
Have you ever notice that there is a victim mentality innate in people that blind them to scammers?
It almost seems like there is a pheromone laced neon sign displayed prominently on their foreheads that reads…
"Victim in Waiting"
"Scammer Wanted"
How else can what for all means and purposes sensible individuals fall prey to dubious scams that are pervasive in society?
Internet scams, Big Government Project backed by the Prime (P.M) Minister and the all time favorite. The Nigerian Email offering Billions!
It almost appears that scammers sense something in our DNA or a flow therein from which that they can profit.
Perhaps they (scammers) can smell the greed. The greed of people believing they will get millions of dollars for little or no work.
These same people never ask three fundamental questions:
• Why me?
• Why now?
• What do I bring to the deal that they don’t have?
Another question one should ask one’s self:
Why should I trust someone who is getting illegal money to not take advantage of me as well?
Thus comes the symbolic “DNA” flaw!
There is a saying that goes:
Logic makes people think, but emotions make them act!
Well, the promise of all that money stimulates the emotions…
When this happens, logic is out the window!
People want to believe that it is ”Their Time” to hit the jackpot!
However, in the end, they only thing they have to show for their greed is a bank account lighter than it was before they got involved with the Big Deal
Therefore, remember: “If it sounds too good to be true it probably is"
However, if you enjoy your victim status…ignore all of the above!
