A Healthy_Lifestyle! Malaysia's First National Aids Conference
Afer learning of my interest in promoting a healthy_lifestyle; a friend invited me to the closing ceremony of Malaysia's First National AIDS Conference held in Kuala Lumpur.

Although, I missed the first two days, I did have the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Sister Dr. Faidah Abu Baker about her work in educating Malaysians on the spread of HIV and other related subjects aspirations.
What I learned is that all of those in attendence have a burden to remove the blinders of denial from the eyes of the locals here on the plight of sex workers and drug addicts.
Insha'Allah (God willing) Religious teachers will see that teaching sex education is not teaching people (especially the young) "How To", but instead providing them with factual information that could save their lives!
If anything was lacking; it was that there no representatives from the high risk groups present.
It would seem that those at risk (sex workers both male and female, drug users, and youth) should have been there on mass!
Afterall, it is not the healthy who are in need of a doctor!

Above is a picture of Sister Dr. Faidah Abu Baker and Brother Mohd Haizal B. Mat Hasim.
Here I am with Sister Dr. Faidah Abu Baker.
